Ghanaian music star Stonebwoy has spoken out about the increasing negativity and lies spreading on X (formerly Twitter). He shared his frustrations about how toxic social media has become.
In a recent post, the popular singer explained how hard it is to deal with false stories and online hate.
“There’s so much going on. I don’t even know where to start or how to handle all the hate and negativity on X,” Stonebwoy said.
Stonebwoy revealed that some people create fake stories just to get attention.
“They want you to respond quickly so they can become popular. Once you react, they get exactly what they wanted—fame,” he explained.
He also mentioned that his lawyers are ready to take action against people who spread harmful lies. While many ignore false attacks, Stonebwoy believes the truth always comes out.
“In the end, the truth wins, and people see that they were just being silly,” he added.
The "Therapy" hitmaker also criticized how some people enjoy causing trouble online just for fun.
He also called out the media and the public for making small issues seem bigger than they are.
“Everyone jumps on the trending gossip. The media joins in, and suddenly, it’s everywhere,” he said.
