Swedru SHS Student Receives GHS 1,000 and Internship After Returning Lost Wallet

A student at Swedru Senior High School (SHS), Jeffrey Ebo Arhin, found a lost wallet with money inside and returned it to the school authorities. For his honest act, Jeffrey received a cash reward of GHS1,000.

The headmistress of Swedru SHS, Golda Esi Andam, shared the good news about the reward. She said that Jeffrey's kind act has also brought him other opportunities. 

"Jeffrey has been offered an internship at a credit union, even though he is still in high school," said Madame Andam. "We are very proud of him, and we hope this will inspire other students."

The school plans to give Jeffrey the reward during a school assembly, so all the students can see and be encouraged to act honestly like him.

Many people who saw Jeffrey's story on social media were very impressed. They left comments praising his honesty and encouraging other students to do the same if they find lost items.
